Martha Walton has been behind a camera and in the darkroom since childhood. She has attended advanced photography courses at the Maine Photographic Workshops and at Montserrat College of Art, and she has also taught both photography and darkroom techniques.

Martha uses medium format and 35 mm film cameras as well as digital. The photos displayed on this site reflect her interests - sailing and the sea, gardening, travel, and family.

In addition to offering prints from her portfolio (viewable on this site), Martha is also available for on-the-water boat portraits taken from the perspective of her own boat, FLYING COLORS. Such shots can be done for boats from Marblehead to Gloucester, Massachusetts. Casual - preferably outdoor - shoots of families and friends can also be arranged for those living on the eastern coast of Massachusetts.
